Applicability of phenylpiperazine dithiocarbamate in the determination of As(III) in natural water and biological samples by differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry
Authors
Abstract:
An efficient protocol for the selective oxidation of primary alcohols to aldehydes withH5IO6/V2O5 in ionic liquid [bmpy][PF6] has been developed. High yields of the products, mildreaction conditions and simple experimental procedure make this protocol complementary tothe existing methods. The catalyst can be reused for several times without obvious loss of thecatalytic activity.

full textDetermination of Tl(I) Ions in Homeopathic Drugs by Differential Pulse Anodic Stripping Voltammetry
Objectives: The present study is focused on the determination of thallium (I) ions in homeopathic drugs. Methods: The determination was carried out using the Differential Pulse Anodic Stripping Voltammetry (DPASV) technique coupled with the flow-injection measuring system (FIA-DPASV). Results: The thallium content was analyzed in two commercial homeopathic preparations (Thallium aceticum 5CH an...
full textSimultaneous determination of lead, cadmium, copper and zinc in Infant formula by anodic stripping voltammetry
Determination of trace elements in food is of great importance, as some of them have nutritional significance, whilst others are toxic. Long-term exposure to low levels of toxic metals could be important, especially in relation to children. Differential Pulse Anodic Stripping Voltammetry (DPASV) is applied to simultaneous determination of lead, cadmium, copper and zinc in dry ash infant formula...

full textElectrochemical Determination of Pindone in Agricultural Formulation and Cereal Samples by Differential Pulse Adsorptive Stripping Voltammetry
A sensitive method for the determination of the herbicide pindone by adsorptive stripping voltammetry using a hanging mercury drop electrode at pH 4.0 was described. The cyclic voltammogram of pindone demonstrates that compound was adsorbed at the surface of mercury electrode, and the overall reduction process was under controlled diffusion. The adsorptive peak was observed at −0.3 V, and peak ...
full textA multielement masking method using magnesium hydroxide coprecipitation for the selective determination of lead in water samples by differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry.
We present a new multielement masking method using magnesium hydroxide coprecipitation for the selective determination of Pb by differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry (DPASV). The recovery of Pb in the masking method was over 95%, while interfering ions (Cd(2+), Co(2+), Cu(2+), Fe(3+), Mn(2+), and Ni(2+)) could be removed at 100% from the analytical sample. A linear regression was obta...
